Sawhill Ponds Trailhead

In Colorado, US

COB303

About this site

Former gravel pits have been turned into habitat for waterfowl, fish, and many other native birds and plants here at Sawhill Ponds.

Owned by Colorado Parks & Wildlife, managed by City of Boulder OSMP, this area is prime for bird watching and shoreline fishing, along with trails to enjoy a pleasant hike while listening to the sounds of nature.

Notice fluctuating water levels, aquatic plants, and the changes of the seasons from this view at the Sawhill Ponds Trailhead overlooking Sawhill Pond No. 1.

About City of Boulder Open Space & Mountain Parks
