Yellow River East of Metts Bluff

Nature-based bank stabilization funded by Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission and Eglin AFB Natural Resources.

Using tree material from harvest locations on Eglin AFB property, project will construct a wood revetment and other bank stabilization measures to prevent further bank erosion from sediment smothering of habitat for the federally-listed threatened Gulf sturgeon and  endangered mussell species.
