Waterford Park was established in 2005. The goal of Friends of Waterford Park (FWP) is to develop a “passive” park in Frederick, MD making use of native plants to enhance the area for wildlife and to educate the public about the benefits of native plants, while at the same time maintaining space for other existing uses of the park.
