Escribano Point WMA

About this site

This area protects some of the last remaining undeveloped shoreline in the county. With its mix of coastal, freshwater, and saltwater habitats, it's home to a wide variety of bird species, including piping plovers, least terns, and black skimmers. Oyster reefs in the bay help improve water quality, encourage sea grass growth, and enhance the overall health of the estuary.

By adding your photo to this Chronolog, you’re helping track how this rare and beautiful shoreline changes over time.
