You are looking at one of the largest habitat restoration projects in the state of Ohio. The Cleveland Museum of Natural History alongside the city of Mentor and other partners worked to removed invasive Phragmites grass from the marsh. This station will help monitor long-term changes and the return of native plant species!
From waterways and wildlife to trees, invasive species and parks, the Natural Resources Division is dedicated to the preservation, conservation, study and management of the city’s natural areas.
