Oak Openings Preserve Wetland Restoration

The existing 48 acre Toledo Metroparks Oak Openings Preserve incorporates previously farmed land adjacent to the preserve. Restoration of the property included regrading and restoring wetland habitat. Forested wetlands and prairie habitat have also been added along Ai Creek, a tributary in the Maumee Basin.
