Litchfield Wetland Restoration

This project, located in the Black River Watershed, includes more than 60 acres of wetlands. Prior to construction, the property consisted of silt loam, or very deep somewhat poorly drained soils. By adding wetland features and native plants, the area is able to filter out nutrients before water flows into the Black River.
