About Cherryfield Riverwalk

The Cherryfield Riverwalk Committee leads this initiative to create a safe walking and biking system around the Narraguagus River that connects Cherryfield’s historic village center with four parks, two boat landings, the Down East Sunrise Trail, and the Maine Seacoast Mission trail network.

Our goal is to create a welcoming, engaging outdoor space where people come to be with friends and family, a place where people can connect with the landscape and history of the Narraguagus River.

The Cherryfield Riverwalk is part of the Momen tum Conservation's Climate Change Observatory Network ,  a photo monitoring program designed to work with environmental organizations and communities to assist with the observation, measurement and documentation of long-term climate change trends and climate adaptation projects.
