The Friends of Nolde Forest is a chapter of the Pennsylvania Parks & Forests Foundation (PPFF), a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit corporation.  We provide assistance with educational, recreational, and historical programming at Nolde Forest Environmental Education Center (EEC).  We also organize volunteer efforts and fundraising for the park.  Nolde Forest has the distinction of being PA’s first EEC.

The beautiful view from the intersection of Boulevard and Watershed Trail is threatened by the spread of Beech Leaf Disease throughout our area.  We hope to use this timelapse to monitor the inevitable decline of these trees and the effect it has on the understory surrounding them.
