Chugach Park Access Improvements

Canyon Road is the only roadway access to the Flattop Sunnyside, Peak 3 and Rabbit Lake trailheads. This narrow and steep road is prone to poor drainage and glaciation, which can create hazardous conditions. 

Your participation in capturing images through this Chronolog station will help us monitor and better understand these issues. The data collected will support our efforts to improve Canyon Road between Echo Canyon Road and Flattop Sunnyside Trailhead. 

This project will also connect with a Chugach State Park initiative to improve and expand parking at the Rabbit Lake Trailhead.
