Boven National Park - Gilboa Ridge 1

Visitors and obsevers should take special note to observe the reforestation areas just at the bottom of the hills and along coast. These areas were fenced off by STENAPA's ReforeStatia project between 2019 and 2025 and show varying signs of recovery. More than 5,000 trees have been planted in this area. Also visible are areas of Boven National Park, Zeelandia Beach and Cliffs, Oranjestad and Quill National Park in the distance. 

Help us track growth in our reforestation plots and the effect of seasonal changes, natural weather systems, vegetation changes, erosion, and storm impacts and/or recovery.
