We take great pride in honouring our historic rural roots, while supporting new development opportunities. Lacombe County is 2,964 square kilometres and contains six hamlets ecompassing 41 townships (including partial townships). Recreational lakes, such as Gull Lake, Sylvan Lake, Buffalo Lake, and Lacombe Lake, are subject to a high-frequency of vistors making the management of these waterbodies and the preservation of their value for generations to come a top priority.
