Taskinas Creek is one component of the Chesapeake Bay National Estuarine Research Reserve in Virginia. Located near the town of Croaker, in James City County, Virginia, the Taskinas Creek reserve encompasses 980 acres within the boundaries of York River State Park. From the Taskinas Creek overlook, you can see the winding creek with salt marsh surrounding it, dominated by Spartina alterniflora.
