About Chapel Hill Public Library

Chapel Hill Public Library is a vibrant community hub and one of North Carolina's busiest libraries, with an average of 1,700 visitors each day. The 63,000-square-foot library includes a computer lab, a large sunlit reading room, youth services, meeting rooms, study spaces, and more. The library is a department of the Town of Chapel Hill, serving the residents of Chapel Hill and the Orange County community.

The library is located in Pritchard Park, 34 acres of rolling woodland in the middle of Chapel Hill.

“Explore More at Pritchard Park” is a collaboration between Chapel Hill Public Library and Chapel Hill Parks and Recreation in an effort to bring environmental education and STEAM programs to Pritchard Park.
