About this site

The Fern Glen displays native plants in several types of native habitats. Along the trails you'll find many species of trees, shrubs and herbaceous species. Some of the plants are part of a project to monitor phenology, the timing of life cycle events such as flowering or leaf color change in the fall. This work will help us understand how organisms respond to climate change. Photos from this station will enhance the data collected along our Fern Glen Phenology trail.
