About this site

The Lowlands is a natural wetland adjacent to a meandering section of the East Branch of Wappinger Creek. Photos from this station will help us monitor a part of the wetland that has been invaded by the non-native reed grass (Phragmites australis). Additionally, the photos will help us monitor the timing of leaf color changes in the spring and autumn on the hill in the background, Teahouse Hill.
