Restoration of this wetland with native plants helps improve water quality of Citico Creek. The area is a habitat for crayfish, songbirds and pollinaotrs.

The Natural Resources program is housed in Parks Maintenance within the Parks and Outdoors Department. We maintain green infrastructure, consult on new park design and help reduce invasive plant species among many other projects.
