About this site

The Resilience Restoration Project is LLNF's proactive approach to climate change along our North Head of Long Pond bank. This project will revert this site from a developed landscape with non-native invasive species to a more resilient native biodiverse ecosystem.

The following are the proposed activities and what should be captured in the photos:

1. Removal and management of invasive and non-native plant species while conserving any existing native vegetation.

2. Removal of the existing structures and landscape features from the project area

3. Native plant restoration via seeding and planting with appropriate native species to restore the targeted native plant communities.

The project will be continually updated as it unfolds. For more information, please visit: www.llnf.org
