About this site

In June of 2024 Beaver Works Oregon led a volunteer planting of over 1000 willow cuttings along the Williamson River here in Collier Memorial State Park. These willows will initally be fenced to allow them time to get established. After 3-5 years the fence will be removed allowing beaver to utilize the riparian shrubs as food and building material.
