The Humboldt Park Natural Area consistss of around 30 acres of acres of woodland, wetland, prairie, savanna and lagoon habitats within Humboldt Park. Enjoy the beauty of nature as it changes throughout the seasons.
The Chicago Park District's Natural Areas team and the The Nature Conservancy's Illinois Chapter work together to connect people to the nature through the Community Stewardship Program, where local residents serve as volunteer stewards and lead habitat restoration workdays.
Chronolog is a monitoring tool for parks, nature centers, wildlife organizations, schools, and museums worldwide. With over 100,000 contributors across 300 organizations, Chronolog is on a mission to engage communities with nature while recording important natural changes.
