The man-made impoundment you see in front of you is a favorite for migratory shorebirds, waterfowl, bald eagles, and other wildlife species. Seasonal water drawdowns provide mudflats for shorebirds and vegetation growth that will eventually produce seeds for waterfowl. Take a look out and see who you can spot utilizing this hidden hideaway.
