You are at the northeast corner of the Duck Trap South Impoundment. This impoundment, installed in 2025, will have it first growing year documentated by this Chronolog! The timelapse will provide valuable insight for how this water levels and vegetation change not only throughout the year, but as the impoundment matures and blends with the existing landscape. Water control features allow us the ability to flood the impoundment seasonally and provide valuable food for migratory waterfowl.
