Existing wetlands have been restored and expanded on this 18 acre property, which is in the headwaters of Wolf Creek, a tributary of the Sandusky River. Work included excavation of a grass field allowing it to revert to its former wetland ecosystem. The project also involved breaking drainage tile to restore natural hydrology to the surrounding area as well as planting trees and other vegetation native to Ohio wetland habitats.
