Karkloof Nature Reserve

Rockwood Karkloof Lodges in the Karkloof Private Nature Reserve is less than 90 minutes from Durban. The journey takes you towards the scenic escarpment of the Karkloof, across farmland and grasslands, past breeding herds of Nguni cattle and bird and wildlife into the indigenous bush of the Karkloof Forest with clear streams and waterfalls.

Rockwood boasts four luxury lodges and cabins. Rockwood Farm House and nearby cosy Farm Cottage are perched on the edge of Spitzkop dam, while Rockwood Forest Lodge and Mountain Cabin are hidden within the indigenous bush of the Karkloof Private Nature Reserve.
